Dr. Roberts received his dental degree from the University of Southern California. He practiced general dentistry for four years before completing his postdoctoral residency in Periodontics at Oregon Health Science University.

Dr. Roberts has practiced periodontics in the North County area over 15 years. He is an advisor to the Summit Dental Study Group. He is a member of the California Dental Association, American Dental Association, California Society of Periodontology, American Academy of Periodontology, and the Rancho Santa Fe Dental Implant Study Club.

Dan, as he likes to be called, resides in Encinitas with his wife, Kathy and two children, Addy and Joseph.
